Please notice: Before using the public transportation system purchase a ticket "Berlin ABC" at the ticket counter or machine which is valid for public transportation (train, city train, tram, bus) from Berlin to Potsdam and within Potsdam.
The ticket costs Euro 3,20 and is valid for 2 hours (going one direction).

ARRIVAL BY PLANE

Berlin Tegel Airport:
From Berlin-Tegel Airport please take Bus TXL (direction S + U Alexanderplatz) to “Berlin Hauptbahnhof” or Bus 109 (direction S + U Zoologischer Garten) to “S Charlottenburg”. You can also take the Bus X9 directly to “S + U Zoologischer Garten”. Buses operate in frequent intervals. Traveling time: approx. 20 - 30 minutes.
Taxi fare from Berlin-Tegel Airport to the hotel: approx. Euro 60,00 (one way; tip not included). Traveling time: approx. 45 - 60 minutes (depending on traffic).

Berlin Schönefeld Airport:
From Berlin-Schönefeld Airport please take the train RB 22 directly to “Potsdam Hauptbahnhof” (operates once per hour at ´22). You can also take the train RE 7 (direction Dessau Hauptbahnhof, operates once per hour at ´44) or the train RB 14 (direction Nauen Bahnhof, operates once per hour at ´23) to “Zoologischer Garten”. Traveling time: approx. 40 - 45 minutes.
Taxi fare from Berlin-Schönefeld Airport to the hotel: approx. Euro 90,00 (one way; tip not included). Traveling time: approx. 45 - 60 minutes (depending on traffic).

Continuation of journey by S-Bahn from Berlin Hauptbahnhof / S + U Zoologischer Garten / S Charlottenburg to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof:
From Berlin Hauptbahnhof, S + U Zoologischer Garten or S Charlottenburg take the S-Bahn(suburban railway) Line S7 (direction Potsdam Hbf) which operates in frequent intervals. Get off at “Potsdam Hauptbahnhof”. Traveling time: approx. 30 – 45 minutes (depending on departure station).

From Potsdam Hauptbahnhof you reach the Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci comfortably by taxi within 5 minutes. Fare: approx. Euro 10,00 one way (tip not included). You can also take the tram Line 91 (direction Pirschheide) which operates in frequent intervals (every 20 minutes). Get off at “Luisenplatz Süd” where the Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci is located. Or you take one of the following bus lines: 605 (direction Wissenschaftspark Golm), 606(direction Alt-Golm) or 631 (Werder Havel Bahnhof) which start at Potsdam Hauptbahnhof and operate in frequent intervals. Get off at “Luisenplatz Süd”. Cross the square towards the entering gates of Park Sanssouci. Traveling time: approx. 10 minutes.

Driving to Potsdam from the south:
Take the motorways A 9 and A10 (Berliner Ring). Leave the motorway at exit "Potsdam-Michendorf" and follow the B 2 towards Potsdam. Cross "Lange Brücke" straight ahead, turn left into "Breite Strasse", then turn right into "Zeppelinstrasse" until you reach "Luisenplatz" where the Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci is located.

Driving to Potsdam from the east:
Take the motorway A 12 to Berlin, then motorway A 10 to Potsdam. Leave this motorway atexit "Potsdam-Michendorf" and follow the B 2 towards Potsdam. Cross "Lange Brücke" straight ahead, turn left into Breite Strasse, then turn right into Zeppelinstrasse until you reach "Luisenplatz" where the Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci is located.

Driving to Potsdam from the north:
Take the motorway A 24 and enter the motorway A 10 to Potsdam. Take exit "Potsdam Nord" and follow the B 273 towards Potsdam. Go straight ahead on "Bornstedter Strasse/Schopenhauer Strasse" until you reach "Luisenplatz" where the Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci is located.

Driving to Potsdam from the west:
Take the motorway A 10 direction Hamburg. Take exit "Groß Kreutz" and follow the B 1towards Potsdam. Go straight ahead on "Zeppellinstrasse" until you reach "Luisenplatz" where the Steigenberger Hotel Sanssouci is located.

There is a public underground parking that costs Euro 15,00 per day (on availability).
