My research focuses on the development of novel biomimetic materials that augment the body’s native healing process and facilitate tissue repair without fibrotic responses.

FOE was an amazing opportunity to broaden my knowledge of key emerging areas in an array of engineering disciplines. FOE also helped me expand my network, which was important for me as an early-career faculty member.
