My research areas include engineered composite materials, advanced composite manufacturing technologies, nanoparticle technology, functional coating for efficient aerospace structures, and high-performance electric space propulsion.

FOE provides the perfect, unique platform for the top talents in the world in different science and technology domains to share their view of a better world and cross-pollinate for potential collaborations. I have always enjoyed the opportunities to network with researchers of very diverse technical backgrounds at the FOE symposia, and I am still in touch with many of them.
