I invent, characterize, and develop heterogeneous catalysts and their processes in order to convert raw feedstock into products more sustainably with less energy, waste, and expense.

As an industrial scientist, my research efforts can be narrowly focused around the opportunities within only my company. The FOE program allowed me to educate myself and others on cutting edge research in unfamiliar fields to explore unrealized adjacencies.
